"Seeing them do that was cool but I was like I don’t wanna do it just to do it. I really wanna do it cause I believe. I'll do it when I’m ready. We were gonna be at this new church and we started like having all these ideas and all these new people. It felt like the right time and I did it."

Joèl Galarza Jr, as a thirteen year old, was the first person baptized at 11|28 in 2022. He's been an active part of the 11|28 student group on Monday's, helps lead younger kids on Sunday mornings, and is always willing to help wherever it's needed. Joél is outspoken about his faith and loves to bring friends around to groups and events 11|28 is hosting.
